Before asking myself and Daniel to create his assets, KpL had already named his channel points 'KP coin'. This was something I thought would be an interesting detail to illustrate. I kept the design as simple as possible since it is only viewed at around 56x56 pixels.
I took this further by using Blender and After Effects to generate a 3D asset and animation that can be used as an overlay. KpL now uses the coin animation for starting soon and ending soon screens. The version below is a dynamic overlay that appears mid stream, prompted by KpL recieving a new follower or subscriber.
